All scores at TEV shows, Rated and Schooling, earned by TEV members or nominated non-TEV members, are automatically recorded toward Year-End Awards.

Our show year for awards is from October 1 through September 30 the following year.

TEV requires a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer time to qualify for Year-End Awards at each level a horse and rider combination competes in.

If you are unable to complete the required volunteer hours, you have the option of paying $50 to fulfill volunteer requirements for one horse/rider combination at one level.

You must have your volunteer hours recorded and confirmed or pay the $50 before September 30 of the Award’s year.

To qualify for a Level’s Year End Award each horse/rider combination must have competed in at least two shows, riding in a minimum of three tests with scores of 60% or higher at that level.  Each horse/rider combination must also have the required 4 hours volunteer time (or $50) to be considered for that level.

Awards are given on a Points basis - First Place = 5 points, Second Place = 3 points, Third Place = 1 point.
