The TEV-CDS Rated and Schooling Show Point year is from October 1-September 30. To qualify for *any* award you must volunteer a minimum of four hours per horse/competitor per level. This is for *both* series… I.E. if you are going for points in the schooling shows *and* the rated shows you need four hours/or nominating fee *per series*. You may transfer your hours to another rider if desired. If you are unable to volunteer you may pay a fee of $50.00. Those who are not members of TEV CDS is required to pay a $25 nominating fee in addition to the other above requirements.

YEAR-END AWARDS ARE:
Series High Point Winners and Reserve - Open, Amateur and Junior/YR, Exceptional and Para in Traditional and Western Dressage
High Score - Open, Amateur and Junior/YR, Exceptional and Para in Traditional and Western Dressage
YEAR-END AWARDS PROTOCOL:
To qualify for awards in Traditional Dressage and/or Western Dressage, each horse and rider combination must be members of TEV in good standing. If not members of TEV, the combination must pay a $25 nominating fee for each level that a horse rider combination competes in.
All scores at TEV shows, Rated and Schooling, earned by TEV members or nominated non-TEV members, are automatically recorded toward Year-End Awards.
Our show year for awards is from October 1 through September 30 the following year.
TEV requires a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer time to qualify for Year-End Awards at each level a horse and rider combination competes in.
If you are unable to complete the required volunteer hours, you have the option of paying $50 to fulfill volunteer requirements for one horse/rider combination at one level.
You must have your volunteer hours recorded and confirmed or pay the $50 before September 30 of the Award’s year.
To qualify for a Level’s Year End Award each horse/rider combination must have competed in at least two shows, riding in a minimum of three tests with scores of 60% or higher at that level. Each horse/rider combination must also have the required 4 hours volunteer time (or $50) to be considered for that level.
Awards are given on a Points basis - First Place = 5 points, Second Place = 3 points, Third Place = 1 point.
